MADRID.- Spain prime minister Mariano Rajoy met today in La Moncloa the president Leonel Fernandez, and discussed the economic situation in the euro zone and Latin America as well as economic and trade relations between both regions.
The Spanish Government website reported that in the meeting the two leaders discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the areas of training and higher education.
Fernandez, who arrived in Madrid yesterday for a private visit, and the first leg of a 10-day European tour, will leave office August 16.

Besides selling the republic off to the mining companies. How many jobs came to fruition due to his countless journeys overseas ? I like the one he took with the same group that was slated as an Asian Business Venture, but, started in Switzerland.( I'd like to hear what you think went on Ant-knee, I mean Vik)
