Santo Domingo.- The remnants of the tropical wave which drenched the country will continue to produce showers though less intense, the National Meteorology Office forecasts Thursday.

 It said the scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected especially in the afternoon and early evening, over the northeast, southeast, central mountains and border zone.

It said the rainfall and thunderstorms will decrease significantly tomorrow, but will continue to occur over the Central Mountains and border area.
