Santo Domingo.- Round Table of Commonwealth Countries in Dominican Republic president Fernando Gonzalez Nicolas hosted a luncheon to honor Malaysia Government delegation chief Mr. Jojie Samuel, who visited to attend president Danilo Medina’s inaugural.

The luncheon was also attended by India Government delegation chief Mr. Dammu Ravi; British Ambassador in Dominican Republic, Steven Fisher and Dominican Ambassador in New Delhi, Hans Dannenberg.

Representing the private sector were Campos de Moya, of the Vicini Group, José Nelton Gonzalez of Puerto Caucedo, Loraine Amell from Universidad Iberoamericana, UNIBE, among others.

The President of the Roundtable stressed the importance of bilateral relations between Dominican Republic and Malaysia, which is also a Commonwealth country.

The Round Table of Commonwealth Countries in the Dominican Republic is an initiative to promote bilateral relations between Dominican Republic and the 54 countries that belong to the Commonwealth.
