Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina confirmed Vicente Bengoa  as head of the State-owned Reservas bank and Claritza Rocha as Deputy governor of the Central Bank.

Alfonso Cedeño was named Deputy director of the of State Works Engineers Supervisory Office, and Dismeris Carolina Denis as Deputy director of the Presidency’s Social Plan.

 Roberto Rodriguez Marchena was appointed director of the Communications Department (DICOM), agency created by decree Wednesday, which fuses the Government Information Center and the Presidency’s Press Office, and Rafael Ovalles was appointed its deputy director.

 Luisa Fernandez was confirmed as head of the National Free Zones Council and Jaquez Rolando Canales as Deputy administrator of the Metropolitan Bus Service (OMSA).

Braulio Frias was appointed Deputy director of the Immigration Agency; Andres Vanderhorst Alvarez was confirmed as executive director of the National Competitiveness Council; Iluminada Esther Hernandez as deputy director of Internal Taxes and Margarita Lidia Pimentel as deputy director of the National Housing Institute-INVI.

Ban Reserva is the worst example of a bank I have ever seen. Banco Popular being the best is light years ahead in service.
