Santo Domingo.- The Central Banker Hector Valdez Albizu met yesterday with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation which arrived in the country Monday to assess a possible agreement.
Reviewed and discussed in the meeting were the economy’s performance during the first half of this year and the economic outlook for yearend 2012.
They also discussed the delegation’s agenda while in Dominican Republic, where they’ll prepare an assessment of its economic situation.
Przemek Gajdeczka will head the delegation slated to be in the country for 10 days, and include Francesco Grigoli, Jesus Gonzalez-Garcia, Sarwat Jahan and Andrew Swiston.
Also present was the IMF Representative in the country, Mario Dehesa, among others.
