Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina Thursday morning visited the first low cost housing project financed by Dominican Republic’s Pension Fund, being built at a cost of RD$650 million.
Moreover, the beneficiaries will get a tax bond equal to as much as 12% of the of the house’s value.
Medina visited the project that includes lots, located in the Los Higaldos sector of the subdivision Los Alcarrizos, where he stressed that the initiative is a revolution and called it a big step for the country. “These houses will reach middle and lower class families al lot easer.”
Pensions Superintendent Joaquin Geronimo said the dwellings comply with the Law’s requirement for applicants, that its value be less than RD$2.0 million.
The project also includes the installation of solar panels to supply energy for the common areas of the project.

What we need most are prefab housing for the very poor. Especially those inhabiting both sides of the Ozama river. It's a pity to see people living in such dire conditions. They can be moved and the eyesore slums razed and converted to parkland.
The middle class can fend for itself, the poor need urgent decent housing to prosper and join the growing middle class that in turn make for a much more prosperous, cleaner, attractive, pleasing, and happy nation.
Santo Domingo, in particular, needs less slums and more green spaces. Let's plant trees everywhere that's appropriate and applicable, such as street sidewalks and avenue divides. More trees= less pollution.

Agree! The teaching of sex education to girls in particular, early in life, can reduce unwanted births by a good margin.
The way to do this, isn't by preaching abstinence, but to utilize various methods of contraception. Family planning is the way to go, with public schools making this a required subject for graduation.
The state must also distribute, free of charge: The pill, IUD, abortion, condoms, contraceptive foam, diaphragm, tied tubes, vasectomy, etc. ..Night classes for family planning and parenthood to all, can help too.

Poor Dominican cannot afford the children they have, that is true.
However, there is plenty of food in Dominicana, and one way or another people survive.
But, in Haiti people are starving there, because there is no food.

It's OK, though. He'll snap out of it, eventually…Or not. These multiple personality disorders can take
lots of time with the analyst, and are not easy to treat. It’s ,however, alleviated with heavy doses of anti- psychotic drugs and repeated sexual activity with multiple partners, which in itself, can carry a degree of danger associated with places, people or things.
It is sometimes crucial that he’d be confined to a mental institution and heavily sedated to counter the urge to escape into the real world and put himself in more danger again.
It has been known to be of therapeutic value that he’d be allowed to escape, as it were, into cyberspace in order to counter the desire for risky behavior. ... For your sake, friend, I hope this is where you are now.
