Panama.- Dominican Republic is touted as the Caribbean’s Hub at Expo Logistics Panama 2013, the most important regional event in the transport and logistics field in all its classifications: sea, air, or land in a backdrop of business contacts to get up to speed on the market’s latest trends.

Along with the participation of more than 150 companies and national and international exhibitors, Dominican Republic’s delegation is headed by Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD) director Jean Alain Rodríguez; Airport Department director Arístides Fernández; Dominican Port Authority director Ramón Rivas, and Civil Aviation Board president Luis Rodríguez.

Touting Dominican Republic’s investment opportunities, the head of CEI-RD said "our participation in Expo Logistics Panama reaffirms Dominican Republic’s great future, as a country located in a privileged geographical area, excellent connectivity in growth, domestic market, and free trade agreement."

The official said his country’s competitive incentives and legal security mean comparative advantages within the Panama Canal’s upcoming expansion. “Our Government is preparing the country to become the hub of the Caribbean".

As the agency responsible for investments, exports and promoting the country-brand, Rodriguez said, the CEI-RD promotes Dominican Republic’s own potential as a logistics center working together with various local and regional organizations.

“The country has a stand at Expo logistics Panama 2013 with participating agencies with items and materials that list the advantages of investing in Dominican Republic, its strategic location and conditions internal to promoting brand country: Dominican Republic HUB of the Caribbean,” the CEI-RD said in a statement.

I could see these ships being loaded in the Dominican Republic before heading to the Pacific ocean.

Only a drug dealer like DannyHuevos would think about drug boats. Normal people think about crops and cargo transfers from other ships. DannyHuevos did someone steal your turf in Little Haiti?

DannyHuevos,
How about posting how there's a higher percentage of Haitians in prison in the US than Dominicans. If it's bad for us, think about how much worse your people have it. Go to Haiti and you'll see how all the poor towns are controlled by drug dealers and gang members. If you want to see how they live go to Little Haiti in Miami, it's like the Congo. Google Haitian gangs in Miami, Google doesn't lie. There are no con-air flights back to Haiti cause there's no department to send them to, all these Haitian murderers, rapists and drug dealers stay in the US prisons cause it would be cruel to send them back. There are no kids begging in Haiti because no one has any money.

Danilo,

Danny00 is a hating tool, no doubt but your comment that there is a higher percentage of Haitians in the US prison system than Dominicans is completely untrue. In reality, it's not even close. There has been numerous factual datum from demographers of prestigious Universities and Dominican advocacy groups presented in the forum section that speaks to Dominican encarceration rates in the US. The numbers are staggering and mind blowing even to the most unbiased observer. Please pardon the messenger.

my response to you would have been thermonuclear. i hate ignorance.

Obviously there are more Dominicans in US prisons than Haitians because there are a lot more Dominicans in the US. I meant the proportion is higher.

No Danilo, neither by proportion, per capita rate or in overall numbers are there more Haitians in the US prison system than Dominicans. It is not even close by any factual or numerical conjunction. Danny00 has no credibility because he makes up facts to suit his anti-Dominican agenda, be careful not to do the same, otherwise you run the same risk to your credibility.

TuPa says:

I can NOT believe you still don't believe me when I say that Danilo/guilly is a racist and ignorant Dominican.

The kid is giving us decent Dominicans a bad name.

He wrote previously that when he said "Haitians", he meant "blacks"...........that there are more blacks than Dominicans in the US prison system.

To him, ALL black people are the same, so saying "more Haitians", he actually meant more blacks.

That jediondito lives in La La Land.............he thinks he is white, not knowing that white Americans think of him and his family the same way he thinks about Haitians/black people.
