Why because they integrate. It has nothing to do with color. However, it has everything to do with education, command of the English language and cultural similarities. If an educated Dominican moved to Alabama, in most cases, he or she would not integrate very well because of the differences in Religious backgrounds, foods, interest whereas an educated black would be able to identify. An educated black who is of the Jewish faith would have nothing in common at all with most blacks, mainstream whites or latinos due to the difference of culture, and religion. Stop putting a color on everything and realize that there are other factors. Also, don't be so whitewashed into thinking that everything WHITE is good.

Educated people who see themselves as a human being first and a color second tend to integrate very well in Martha's vineyard. Oh, have we forgotten about the educated blacks who live in Martha's Vineyard and would never, ever, ever be caught dead associating with a lowbrow who wears "dreadlocks."
