You must be an angel.

Has he converted to islam yet?
If not read the Qur'an 2:221.

"Nor marry your girls to unbelievers until they believe. A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever...."

No exception is given for women to marry Jews and Christians, so the law stands that she may only marry a believing (Muslim) man. As head of the household, the husband provides leadership for the family. A Muslim woman does not follow the leadership of someone who does not share her faith and values.

RE: dominican in the uk
dalila5 girl I am 100% Dominican, and I understand you girl. I am sorry that you a few replies from some ignorant people of my country. Girl I have a friend of mine, who is Dominicana like myself, and she married a man from Yugoslavia and he happens to be Muslim, but she was not forced to convert at all. They both believe in the same God you know. Anyway you call God, Allah, Yahweh, Dios, Papa dios, and other words, is the same God that created us. I will not get anymore into religion, because it is a really sensitive topic that should be respected and that is all.

Now, if you would like to know if your Fiance who happens to be from my native land Dominican Republic would like England, you should ask him girl. I understand you care about him, and it is natural. For example, I myself, have always been attracted to people of other cultures. I enjoy to learn, experience other foods, music, etc; I embrace my Dominican culture of course too, my merengue like when I was a little girl I learn how to dance music from Dominican music artists like "Wilfrido Vargas", "Juan Luis Guerra y 440," Las Chicas del Can", and many more. I also like my Bachata, and Dominican food, which I cook a lot of, and learn how to cook since I was a little girl, and also other international foods. I also like music from the English such as Depeche Mode, , the Icelanders like Bjork, the Swedes so many to count and their oldies like ABBA , the Arabic cultures and also the African as well, and many more of Latino America, Chinese, Japanese, more Asian music, and so much more! Okay the point is that it all depends on your husband. So welcome my Algerian sister from France who lives in England.

By the way my profile picture of light skin girl kissing the man is me on my wedding day, I married a man of European background of the Protestant Religion, and him and I fell in love with one another for whom we are inside, but like I said in another post, I am attracted to the person physically first, then I see the personality; my husband does not want me to post what country he is where he is from on public websites, because he is a bit private with the internet, but he is a wonderful man in so many ways, he is faithful, respectful, loving, and more, and we love one another for life, like my parents do for so many years. Just have faith, and life will happen naturally, I hope I explained myself okay, if not let me know Dalia.

i heard that is only 500 dominican living in england and im wondering why or why not
hopefully my futur dominican husband will move there in the next 6 month and i would love to hear from some dominicano living around london!
how is life here for them
food,culture,everything?

It's a good thing that there are only 500 there because if more go there will be criminals and we don't want to earn a bad drug dealer reputation like we have in Spain and New York.

I think Jamaicans already have that title in England. Dominicans got that title in Puerto Rico, New York and Boston.

Very Interesting, I did'nt know that.

Domestic violence is very common in the Dominican Republic.
And as though you can take a Dominican out of the country but not out of his/her "culture" some people may be slapped into reality sooner or later...
