The funny thing PeRod is that the person that did this video about the Haitian empire which existed in the early 19th century. Don't realize that the king, Henri Christophe enslaved his own black brethren to build the Citadel in Haiti a project that took about 13 years to complete, and also forced the blacks to tend the land for agro-production as serfs. On top of all this misery Henri Christophe massacred all the mulattos in his territory, what a f******* idiot do these people know there own history?

Speaking of which, you who is acting like an autodidact on Haitian history. I must ask you the very same question if you even know DR's own History... Or perhaps I am manding you to go read DR's own history regarding or of the similar acts committed by Trujillo as far as him and placed near-enslavement of hard labor the mass black Dominican populace to build monuments that he actually arrogantly named in his name such as for example Pico Duarte which he swicthed to Pico Trujillo and former French or Haitian named cities alike which he may have taken by force and renamed or replaced their names with Spanish ones. Do you selectivelly not know that part of DR's History as well? Did he not even named a city in DR "Trujillo Cuidad"?

P.S: Where do you get off placing blame only on an entire neighboring group of people within the Island shared by both nations for the actions of past leaders of one side when there were leaders in DR whom have done almost or close to the very same acts into DR just as some past Haitian leaders have done in Haiti?
