Your Haitian cannot understand what solidarity means but for us, here, in the Dominican Republic that is something normal. That was the way three thousand of our soldiers defeated thirty thousand of your soldiers. Without solidarity it would impossible for us just to survive.

The Haitian participation was insignificant and selfish, the Haitians did not want the lands in the west to fall in the hands of the Spanish. That landspace belonged to the D.R. since the Treaty of Ryswick was signed between Spain and France. The border was ill defined for a long time until 1777 when the Spanish and French signed the Treaty of Aranjuez and the border was marked by stone monuments.

Gizmo Do you forget ass**** that Dominicans had a very different relationship with the Spaniards as oppose to Haitians and French. We already went through this on another thread, while Haiti was a literal slave colony D.R. was not! Many Dominicans can trace there roots to Spain, NO Haitians can't trace s**t to France. Remember what you're forefathers did to the French they killed them all unless they escaped, so keep on drawing comparisons you're truly a fool by birth.
