I was wondering what is a typical working day for Mountingminie? Are you only helping Haitian immigrants? What are your organization goals?

Does anybody knows if we have such organization for Dominican workers?

Yes there is.

NO.. There simply are not enough willing Dominican Workers to fill the market or to begin such an organization.

Most of the Domincan "workers" perfer to work in other areas such as the Discoteca, Dominoes table, or the Tequila or Presidente bars. Some Dominican "workers" would rather be "employed" on the streets debating "political issues" or "baseball" games or in the bedroom making another "shoe shine boy".

Finally there is great number of Dominican workers employed in the tourist industry as putas, Haitians seem to contibute greatly to the Dominican economy, despite being immigrants. They are mostly employed in the Construction & Agricultural industries of the D.R.

It is difficult to organize and have a similar organization for Dominicans. I am open for suggestions on starting one.

In other words: Typical Haitian argument.
