Hay,

Jejejej, I just realized that..I thought I would try to gear it to some positive directions. Oh well, let me move out of the way. Take it on Fellas..I say just meet up and get that fustration out face to face with hispanolo..I got my money that he will beat both of you guys at the same time.(arcatype & carlosfranco). If it is war you want..bring it on face to face with him rather than keyboard..I got 3000 pesos..on Hispanolasoy..kiskeya la belle...don't let me down..I am such an instigator..The proceeds will go towards haitians & dominicans in need in the DR....

Yeah, I could use some of the entertainment too. God only knows that things can get very boring over here without a good brawl (Aside from the routinely ones that Goulet and Belial are acustomed to have on the front articles).

PS: My wager is 3,500 to Hispanolo. The guy is in the Army, so it's a no brainer that he must carry a lot of firepower with him.

Lautaro, on that Columbian Civil War here is a link you might find useful http://www.rense.com/general4/columb.htm and also try this one http://www.stratfor.com/hotspots/colombia/default.htm but often it is down at times as they ahve just relocated the site itself.

In any event their is a total misunderstanding regarding the haitian occupation..I will expound further on this when I get home if I have time..but one only need to look at the document that declares seperation from the haitian state to realize this...in it the author clearly alludes to the fact that Boyer's troops were "invited"...The fact is that I can't see my ancestors subjecting themselves willingly to Boyer's troops.. There's plenty of evidence that indicates that a significant portion of the Dominican population actually sought a union with the haitian state willingly for various reasons and it included Dominicans from all social levels (many prominent Dominicans served in the Haitian senate and in the haitian militia, including men such as Santana, Duarte, Bobadilla, etc). Also, bear in mind that prior to Boyer's arrival the Haitian flag was hoisted by locals in both Montecristi and Santiago..yes, Santiago.....a generation later it was obvious to most Dominicans that this was an unattainable union for a myriad of reasons but that wasn't the consensus just two decades earlier. The before mentioned facts might sound disturbing to some but it is history regardless of how any one individual might interpret it.

Cibaeno,

Personally I dont think you should waste your precious time dis-secting the obvious you've mention. Despite the enlightenment there are those that prefer to go with the propaganda. We have to know that these peopel will always exist and carry on with our normal lives.

I wish I could Jabao but I love history to much to see it get distorted...like I said only a careful reading of the document that Santana and them affixed their name to when declaring the seperation of the Dominican State from the haitian one (and that's exactly what it was called in said document, a seperation) to confirm most of what I posted. A copy of said document is readily available in "The Dominican People", a compilation of selected historical writings pertaining to dominican history (it was compiled by Inoa and someone else..can't remember the name of other compiler off the top of my head)

RE: Haiti's Occupation
What is your intention mr. haitiano for the Dominican Republic, is it for Haiti to slowly occupy the eastern part of the island under the banner on false pretense. Your illusion is a wish by the haitian wealthy that despise the black (African) majority population in Haiti, the gig is up. If the dominican goverment granted citizenship to a large number of your compatriots, that will encourage a massive migration from Haiti into the Dominican Republic. The dominican goverment is not foolish enough to grant legal status for those that have turned their own country into a living hell, so stop convinving dominicans under false presumptions that we are much a like when in reality we are very different.

What neither Haitians and Dominicans have not tried to put into perspective is that DR did not get its Independence from Haiti, but from very own Spain which they have surrender their control to. Haiti and Dr as far as history is concerned never really actually gone into a full out war with each other but occasional separatist movements here and there which is why many treaties were instead agreed upon and in a sense not real actual physical revolts as did Haiti against the French, Spain, The English or the US invasion.

Me backed down, never kid! At times you have to give your enemy breathing room to come to you and overwhelm them for you may be better prepared. O Ye with little faith. Obviously you have not seen the strategic of my war plan how not all of it is conventionally what they naked eye could see. You do not win every war with physical fire power alone and all out brawl. There are more sap in the tree to bring both the bare and the bees aknee.
