I am talking about this: U.S Department of State Travel Warning United States Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs Washington, DC 20520 The State Department warns U.S. citizens of the risks of travel to Haiti and recommends deferring non-essential travel until further notice. This Travel Warning replaces the Travel Warning dated April 30, 2008, and is being issued to remind American citizens of the destructive impact of a series of hurricanes in 2008, to provide updated information on country conditions, and to alert Americans to ongoing security concerns. Travelers are strongly advised to thoroughly consider the risks before traveling to Haiti and to take adequate precautions to ensure their safety if traveling to Haiti. http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_917.html |

The intention is that the Haitians come to understand how their country really is and that they once and for all do something to improve it. |

I must say that the rich haitian kids at the club called infini look like normal dominicans you see on your day to day in the streets of Santo Domingo. However, I want to see more pictures.....I was on another forum where they have sub-forums on DR and Haiti and I must say that I was amazed at the diversity in architecture within the different parts of Haiti, some just miles apart. The houses are awesome! Please continue posting and let's keep this thread as informative as we can keep it...... PS: Those kids in the club look like the some of the same people I see whenever I go to places like Amika in la capital, or Karu&Y here in Miami.....I don't know about Francifol or some of the other hot spots in Santiago, but that's because I haven't been to "la mata de las mujeres buenas del pais" too often, although what comes out on Bonche.com and Uepa.com show similar pictures and people.....maybe some of y'all kind people from "El Cibado" can guide me hehe.... PS 2: I met a really hot blonde girl that worked at a Hooters here in Miami and she told me she was Haitian-American....blonde, blue-eyed beauty, not the first white Haitian girl I've met but definitely one of the hottest Haitian girls I've seen and not because of her skin tone either. She was simply hot! |
