my friend went from canada yesterday he will keep me posted but I just sent you review from trip advisor. they do pick up service fro airport. its far from the capital. Haiti compared to other carribean countries have low crime but the news report mostly political unrest and issues mainly from the capital. however, read the trip advisor see for yourself. if you want more questions regarding the Port morgan when he gets back he will show me pics and his review for now , check out the site above.

There are pockets of beauty everywhere in life keep open mind and you will be fine.

My mom was born on the border of Leogâne, even if she's closer of Jacmel than the Leoganese(?) She always describe me how beautiful is Jacmel.

RE: How is living in Haiti?
Jeremie (City of many haitian poets and writers) remote and most isolated town from port au prince in haiti. Isolation was due to the mullatoes of the area having problems with Duvalier back in the 50s.

This was also home of haiti's last military general and dictator Raoul Cedras
