RE: Dominicans and Haitians, what is the problem?
hispanolanoyosoy,

I sincerily congratulate you for this article. It is clear, concise, right to the point and the face. I am certain that I couldn't have written a better one. My guess is that the ones who are stirring the pot of hatred against Haitians in the Dominican Republic are not even second or third generation Dominicans. Their tactic is to divide and conquer. in fact, they are afraid to lose their socio economic hegemony on the population, and because your people are not that litterate and highly educated as the North American or the European are, they are using using their unawareness in order to sneak false and propagandist information into their mind.
Why do you think that even the Indus now think that they are not blacks? Aren't the Europeans and the Americans let them believe that they are whites that have been burn by the sun? And aren't they looking down on Africa which is their ancestors continent?
My friend, if this war between evil and good must be won, it we must fight it at it strongest point, and it is the deception occasioned in the people mind by false information and deceptive propaganda, for you will always find some knuckleheaders who will emotionally and empty headly fall for their hatred lies.

RE: Dominicans and Haitians, what is the problem?
Listen that is not the problem in Dominican Republic when it comes to Haitian immigrants. I was raised in the USA and currently live in the Dominican Republic and I can say that I have witnessed how a poor country like DR government is putting all this weight on their backs which in all reality is not fair. My cousin is doing his residency en el Padre Billini en Ciudad Nueva and he was like "OMG like 40% of the pregnant women are women from Haiti and we barely have enough for health coverage for the Dominican women. The Dominican government spends over 3 billion pesos a year only in health coverage for these Haitian citizens. I do not have anything against Haitians, I know they are very hard workers and are here to make a living the same way we go to the USA to make a living but they are going to the wrong place! They need to take their boats and go to the USA which is a developed nation and the richest one of all to top it off. It is expected for us not to be content with Haitians coming here when we have to battle on a daily basis just to get the necesary to survive!

you make tremendous points concerning the haitian epidemic. many haitians have been smart enough or lets say have enough sense to know that the usa is the better destination for them. it's okay if you are branded as a racist because of such good points that you put. the haters or the envious will just continue to play the same card that gets them nowhere.

Dominicans and Haitians, what is the problem?
READ BELOW AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHAT'S THE PROBLEM:

And now everytime a haitian goes to cinqo domingo or if thats even the name they kill them. they torchure them and cut off their heads. i meen im proud to be haitian. why do the dominiquens have to keep killing us. trust me im not racist but stop murdering us cause you dont like seeing us get use to it it's lyf. My parents dont know why i love haiti so much cause i was born in florida. both of my parents are haitian. I love all racists. It's just that sudan ppl scare mii but watevr. Be friends. Thats what god wants. I mean I have alot of spanish and haitian friends asian and muslim and indian friends too. i love them. i dont like when i find out another haitian person was killed in the dominquen republic. it's not like wii killed u. Just work it out already. God help these people and nations.

If what you state and believe were only true, Haitians would not be invading and taking over the Dom Rep. They have been able to do this due to various reasons, but mostly because the ones directly effected are defenseless, weak and the most vulnerable of Dominican society. They are the uneducated, campesinos, poor and lower class Dominicans, the vast majority of the population. These folks have no money and thus lack political influence and their only leverage is a single vote but even that gets easily manipulated by unscrupulous politiacians. That is why Haitians keep invading by the thousands, without regards to those who suffer the consequences, because Dominican authorities have done little to nothing to protect them. They do not defend the rights of the poor working class Dominicans. Had it been another segment of Dominican society, this uncontrolled massive migration of Haitians would have never occurred or would remain to a minimum. These people are helpless and when you see violence erupt it is because things have reached the boiling point and once frustrations hit the roof, the volcano erupts.

Agropecuaria
HAITIANIZACION (2)
