RE: Tatico y Lalan..:)
Tatico Henriquez, considered by many to be the best accordionist of merengue tipico, was an accordionist hailing from Nagua, Dominican Republic whose career was most prominent in the 1960s into the early 1970s. He is known for both his skill on the accordion and his addition of new instruments to a standard merengue tipico band.

Tatico's Contributions
Henriquez made many changes within the standard lineup of merengue tipico. Before his additions, the lineup had:

a Two-row diatonic accordion
Güira
Tambora
Marimbula, a bass-like instrument
Saxophone (seldom used, however)
After Tatico's band came onto the scene, the lineup had:

Two-row diatonic accordion
Güira
Tambora
Saxophone (this time paired, so as to harmonize with the accordion)
Conga, usually playing rhythms around the tambora.
Electric Bass, in place of the marimbula

[edit] Tatico Musicians
Guira- His brother named Julio Henriquez or Domingo Reynoso Or Milciades Hernandez
Tambora- Viejo Ka or El Flaco or Manon or El Flechu
Saxophone- Felix or Miro Francisco or Danny Cabrera
Electric Bass- Manochi or Nolo
Conga- Robero "La Culebra"

La agarradera? Is that the original? Because I've heard so many remakes.
