RE: Japan
where?, you could find Dominicans in Japan by contacting the Japanese Embassy in Santo Domingo.. or by visiting their webpage http://www.do.emb-japan.go.jp/

here is the contact card of the Dominican embassy in Yokyo, Japan

Oficina: Embajada
Calle: Kowa 38 Building Room 904, 4-12-24 Nishi-Azabu
Ciudad: Minato-Ku
Provincia / Estado: Minato-Ku
País: Japón
Teléfono/s: (+81-3) 4996020
Fax: (+81-3) 4992627

I have heard that there is a small Dominican communityNikkeis( descendants of Japanese immigrants that went to D.R in the 1950's) in Tokyo and also in the Tokyo Salsa nightclubs..

Euromax thanks for the post man! It's fascinating to see how diverse the Dominican Republic is. It's great to see that we have albeit a small population but a bit of the world in DR. How are the nikkei's viewed in Japan? Do you have any Japanese-Dominican friends in DR? I know some live in constanza and SDGO.
