Those of you that may have read a few of my posts know that I am not a DR National, but I have many relatives that are. There are still many that I do not know, and fraternal organizations have always proven to be a good resource for historical family connections. Also, I'm interested in knowing how many on this site are on the square. |

I don't live in DR but my parents are Dominican. Without putting to much info on here about our craft I received the light in 1995 in Germany. Living all over the US and traveling abroad I personally havent met too many Dominicans excepts for one in Germany who are involved with what we do. He also is from NY of Dominican parents like myself. On my next trip to DR I plan on checking out a few places down there that are related to our organization. Do you know of any that need special attention while visiting in DR? |

There isn't anyone in particular that I need you to look up. I was just wondering if there are any Dominican PHAs out here. I know my late cousin, Roland Chapman was a mason (not PHA) in the DR back in the day. He was my grandfather's first cousin. He relocated back to the DR after living in the US for many years. I'm not sure of the dates. The way the world works, I'm sure I have some younger relatives perhaps still living abroad that are PHA. I figure this website would be a start. When you get a chance, check to www.phamily.ning.com, if you haven't done so already. If you drop me an email at islandmon222@yahoo.com, I can send you an invite. |

I am from the Dominican Republic, born in Santo Domingo, moved to San Pedro De Macoris but grew up in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. I presently live in Tortola but I'm in Santo Domingo twie a year. Will be there now in June and then in December. I am the JW of King Solomon's Ashlars Lodge #778 (BVI) U.D. under the protection of the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge Prince Hall Afiliated of Florida, Belize, Central America and St. John, USVI Jurisdictions. I hope a charter can be started in the DR in future so that we can get to fellowship more over there. It's indeed a beautiful country. |
