You're right, Weston like in many Florida locations you must have a car and you need to drive to get to a bank, a grocery store, etc. And yes, it still being called Westonzuela...... I like Coral Springs too, but that's my personal opinion based in my own requirements and taste. To choose a home you need to consider you own taste and needs, like many of the participants said, come down and expend some time looking around.

I went to Orlando a couple years ago and there seemed to be a small but growing Dominican population over there. Orlando seemed kind of boring and sterile though.

I believe that you would be fine in ft. lauderdale. I just moved to delray beach from NJ and now i reallized i should of gone to Ft. lauderdale. West palm beach has toomany mexicans and too many hispanics and that can be a little trouble. ( not discriminating)

Clearwater Beach and area is good and doiesn't have as many aligators. It is also quite a centre fro cosmetic surgery and house prices are very reasonale. Median house price is 775K and has only dropped slightly compared with other areas.

stay away from any place located more than 25 miles of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, W Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Pt St Lucie, Homestead, Orlando, Tampa and Ocala.

Any town north of Ocala (with the possible exception of Gainesville) is a living hell. I have been to Tallahassee & Pensacola before.
