"They are the only people you mention as dishonerable[sic]." How did you extract that thought from my statement? I clearly stated "their's very few things as dishonorable as seeing such men off to fight futile wars." Another one with reading comprehension. My comment was referring to older men who spent their youth dodging Viet Nam, who started the wars that have wreacked havoc on this country, who have sent honorable men and women off on foreign adventures that were iniitated with lies. That is truly dishonorable and shameful. FYI I have SEVERAL relatives overseas in the armed forces or who have recently returned from duty. How many are serving from your inner circle in these debacles that you support wholeheartedly? "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill |

I did serve my Country....be careful this time, anthonyc. no flights of fancy, and fantasy. please do not tell us that you were some admiral, or the commander of some elite team in the Gulf. just give us the truth, that you were some civilian clerk attached to the State Department. I have no need, responsibility or desire to tell you how and where I served. It is beyond your minuscule comprehension. would be nice to think AC actually put something before his own self for once(like serving his country for the love of it) but my guess would be he did it to wear the shiny uni and advance himself. not doubting he served well and honorably and doesn't love his country but it does not fit his modus operandus presently. |
