All of these things rely on electricity, a resource that is not very convenient at the present time. I do believe that there is going to be a higher need for people like you. especially in 2011 when the world economies will start to gamble more on unproven ventures. Right now, fishing and agriculture are the sleeping giants. |

I spent the last six months in DR trying to develop a multidimensional healthcare products and services company, its an extremely difficult task ( my industry) because it is highly government regulated and there is no transparency for market or financial data. Your idea definately has some merit however there is a limited market for IT services since only about 40% of the pop. has access to computers at home. In my venture I did run into some competent IT development companies, however the the price range is a bit tough for people to cover, I mean I was paying about 125 dollars a month for internet access at home just to be able too download a 1Mbps. Having a business worthy T1 connection is very expensive. I'm sure if you hook up with people on this site you might get some leads to help you out, but I would say only 25% of the people really know what they are talking about when it comes to IT. I however will keep you in mind when I start constructing my IT infrastructure Good luck!! "In order to put an end to injustice, we must first put an end to Impunity" |
