I hear there is a shortage of mangoes in India and USA. Perhaps out there is a an Indian entrepreneur who wishes to invest in DR in increasing growing and export of the fruit. Exotic Indian varieties should do well. India, with its superb agricultural R & D would be well placed to support a trailblazing mango plantation. Scion wood if carefully packed and grafted could increase the varietal range of DR mangoes How about it? Trees already existing could be brought to bear high value mangoes.
