These guys are a bunch of broke Dominican elite wannabes. Most of them are unemployed, on welfare or recieving unemployment checks. If you want to discuss negative topics about Haitians then they can help you. But about business opportunities involving them, I don't think you will find anyone raising their hand any time soon. Brasilenos4ever!!!!!!!!!! Palhaçinho, eu não acho que você é brasileiro. Não sabe qualquer brasileiro verdadeiro que reconheça ele mesmo como "brasileno" em lugar de "brasileiro". Por favor resposta em português meu amigo. Obrigado. |

Tá fudido meu amigo This will never happen! Outside DR speaking French may be considered classy or chic, but in DR anything French is repudiated or ignored. If you ever say that you speak French in public, they would think that you wasted your time learning that backward language...Dominican Republic is growing in English, but also getting closer to Latin America. Absolute nonsense - here in the North the French government supported free French lessons for children. They had great fun singing Frere Jacques and learning French from skilled teachers. A certificate at the end of the course was well prized and children s books in French are of high quality and thought provoking. When a job is offered in many fields, commerce, tourism, engineering a basic ability in 3 or 4 languages is an asset. French is not a 'backward language' - there is substantial literature and it some technological, agricultural and medical fields the French excel. Of course the Church would prefer Aramaic or ancient Greek both also valuable. S. S. |

I'm pretty sure when Castellano was born out of Latin...the Latin speakers at the time thought it was a bit backwards too...the same way Castilian speakers feel that Portuguese speakers have a crippled tongue. |
