I would like to know what companies are the major suppliers of alcohol in the puerto plata region to bars/resorts/retailers on a wholesale level. Also if you have any opinions or experiences dealing with said companies. Thanks in advance! |

I am actually looking for the distributor who would supply the colmado with all of its boose at wholesale prices(yes if you havent guessed its a possibility we are opening a bar) I do however appreciate your reply! Actually, I dont know if you would by the local stuff directly from Brugal and Presidente or through distributors. From my experience here, I would try to avoid the middlemen as they will screw you in every direction. My guess is you can buy local brews directly. The bar in my hometown of Maimon does buy from the Colmados for their bar. Surprsingly, they are well stocked. The local one even has Johnnie Walker blue label. However getting other stuff such as smirnoof or grey goose vodka and jack daniels might be more difficult if you were to import it yourself.. but maybe that is the norm in DR. Thanks for the input! |
