This likely makes him one of the greatest investors in the world over that span. It certainly makes him better than Warren Buffett, whose Berkshire Hathaway posted a comparable rate of return of 22%. Buffett's best chance of improving Berkshire's return is not buying a railroad. It would be to invest in the Yankees.
