Who else here likes strategy games?

I really loved C&C: Generals. Although I have to say that I don't have a favorite series yet. I'm currently playing Empire: Total War, which is a must have for any RTS gamer out there,

I'm huge on strategy games, but much more into Civilization and turn based games.

Empire covers both colonization and turn areas quite nicely. Furthermore, one have to be careful when dealing with taxes on conquered areas, cuz' the people can make a revolution out of this, religion and political dissent. Although on this last area, one can easily mend fences by substituting the impopular colonial governor.

Yeah I had looked at Empire : Total War but am worried about reports it is buggy and crashes

II'll stick to Civ IV for now, besides these are games for winter. in the summer I rather be outdoors!
