Sanchez was impressive against a pretty good defense in a hostile atmosphere. What a pleasure to watch the defense dictate the game and dominate as opposed to sitting back like they did last year. The defense dominated even without Pace and Ellis, you gotta love it!!! Only one game but the NFL better take notice. Sanchez will get better and thats scary. His passes are so accurate and with zip. He kinda reminds me of a Troy Aikman but with better mobility. |

Yessssssssssss one down 15 to go. Good assessments there yumnuk Sanchez was unbelievable on third down. The usual rookie mistake but he was sharp when needed. Defense as advertised by Rex. David Harris was all over the place. Scott played solid along with Leonhard. Revis completely shutdown Andre as I expected. Jenkins is a monster on one occasion slapped the offensive guard and sent him to the ground. I will be rating the team later on. You are absolutely correct the defense was spectacular, but as a long suffering jets fan, I am not going get too carried away, just yet. mainly due to lack of big explosive WR's. hopefully TE Dustin Keller can pick up the slack.... That being said, things are clearly going in the right direction, but the big test will come next week when we face New England. Let's remember that a healthy Tom Brady will be throwing passes to Randy Moss and Wes Welker. |
