RE: OFICIAL NFL THREAD AND THE COOLEST ON DT
Jets and Sanchez looked great yesterday. I am so happy right now.

Pats are mostly hype. Brady is still hurt. Their D is no where near what it used to be. Game is in New York too. I pick Jets in a close one.

yumnuk Great game by Sanchez and the defense. Sanchez was impressive against a pretty good defense in a hostile atmosphere. What a pleasure to watch the defense dictate the game and dominate as opposed to sitting back like they did last year. The defense dominated even without Pace and Ellis, you gotta love it!!! Only one game but the NFL better take notice.

Sanchez will get better and thats scary. His passes are so accurate and with zip. He kinda reminds me of a Troy Aikman but with better mobility.

Yessssssssssss one down 15 to go. Good assessments there yumnuk Sanchez was unbelievable on third down. The usual rookie mistake but he was sharp when needed. Defense as advertised by Rex. David Harris was all over the place. Scott played solid along with Leonhard. Revis completely shutdown Andre as I expected. Jenkins is a monster on one occasion slapped the offensive guard and sent him to the ground. I will be rating the team later on.

You are absolutely correct the defense was spectacular, but as a long suffering jets fan, I am not going get too carried away, just yet. mainly due to lack of big explosive WR's. hopefully TE Dustin Keller can pick up the slack.... That being said, things are clearly going in the right direction, but the big test will come next week when we face New England.

Let's remember that a healthy Tom Brady will be throwing passes to Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

Yumnuk that is the only category I seen hurting our team WR. Nevertheless I'm enjoying every moment while it last. As you know this doesn’t come every day We only have one proven WR J. Cotchery. I didn’t agree though when they were prepared to shipped David Harris to Denver for hothead marshal 2 week ago. I was neutral about bringing troublemaker and clubhouse cancer TO. Next week I expect Ryan to blitz the hell out of Brady to check his ankle

I just hope the defensive line can get to brady next week like they got to Schaub yesterday. We have a chance to win the game if Brady gets smacked around like he did agaings the Giants.

Curtains for the Jets !

A media member overheard Joe Namath say to Sanchez, "You are so pretty I could just kiss you." At least Joe has a consistent line when he is a little Hammered.
