With the teams with the best record getting a bye from the first round of the playoffs. I think its a horrible idea personally. But a few people are very adamant about it since some times there is no "juice' in the wildcard race and it is pretty much resolved early in the season. I just think one wildcard team is enough and that adding more wildcards would further cheapen a sport that's already pretty watered down. They should legalize only one PED that everyone can use so the home run number will go up again. The women like the long ball |

JAJAJAJAJAJAJA. lol It is a fact that baseball ratings have gone down since the PED era. The NFL kills MLB in ratings. Real baseball fans like to see small ball played but on TV most people like to see homeruns and look how low the numbers were this year. snooze fest only 5 guys topped 40HR in the regular season and look at how many games are played. I remember when the NHL was hot and it went down hill... I am glad that the cubs have a new owner. first thing they need to do is fire the entire front office. They pay too much money for some players and then let go the good everyday players. The only good deals that they have had are aquiring Sosa, Alou, Marmol, Ramirez, Wood. and D Lee bad deals: Soriano - over paid fukudome - over paid zambrano - over paid bradley - over paid and a headache let wood go let deRosa go had dusty baker as the manager not signing peavy Now they brought over the jaramillo the old texas hitting coach... Was it to help Soriano or are they going to be dumb enough to keep bradley? Edited on 10/28/2009 12:40 PM by xwill7. |
