You're acting like we are calling for their heads. This Chinese eye stuff is funny, if you are a freshman on the high school JV team. If you are grown up it is simply foolish, especially if you don't have the sense to wait until the cameras are off. But are we suppose to cruscifix everyone for bad humor? If so then Freddie Beras Goico should have been executed 30 years ago. A classic movie like Blazzing Saddles couldn't be made today because of the PC police. Look at all of the idiots protesting the Movie Tropic Thunder because they call somebody in the movie a Retard! |

Look at all of the idiots protesting the Movie Tropic Thunder because they call somebody in the movie a Retard! Actually we get away with much worse these days. Blazing Saddles is tame compared to South Park, Family Guy, modern college humor movies, Dave Chappelle, etc. All I've heard about Tropic Thunder is positive reviews,I'll be checking it out myself. Even in our allegedly PC world we leave a place out there for tasteless humor. As dread points out the problem is the Spaniards under discussion seem to have no sense of the proper place for such things. I mean I don't know where you get this crucifixion business...no one has said they should be in jail or anything like that...but if people behave poorly in public they should be publicly mocked. Now the guy assaulting the girl, I'm all for seeing him get his, but then he did something way beyond speaking badly or making a foolish gesture. I love going to NY. Whenever someone give me attitude there I just tell them I am from Miami. They back down quickly. New Yorkers are all talk. Great town but the guys are wimpy. |
