"There now!

Don't ya all just feel better?

Nothing like delusions of grandeur and false superiority to make one's self-esteem get a boost."

Fuggettabbouttit. No props to the godos. Today is August the 16th, El 16 De Agosto. On a day like today a group of Dominicans decided to say "hell no" to the Spanish Annexation and raised the standard of rebellion in Capotillo. The Spanish were so disgraced by the outcome of the struggle that began that day that they've practically erased it from their standard histories. But the struggle is credited for intiating many things that also adversely afffected Spain. Some have cited it as one of the causes the brought down O'Donnell's government in Spain, others as one of the inspirations for the Cuban revolt against spanish rule that began in 1868, three years after the successful completion of The War for Restoration. Gloria a los patriotas!

He has no choice, GC, specially when the commander of the cuban side (Maximo Gomez) was a dominican banilejo.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
