Orq. Flamboyan w Frankie Dante protesting Vietnam War: Circa 1974

Srs. esto no es Radio WADO, o WHOM o Radio X (WBNX); Esto es Radio Memoria recordanbo lo que muchos olvidan y otros nunca han oido. No this ain't Symphony Sid on WEVD, or the Joe Gaines Express. This is just a man reminiscing a gone by era when rhythm livened up the dull concrete jungle of New York City's streets and homes.

This doc was in 1971-1972 , I bought the all Fania All Stars DVD set : Lating Thing, Live In Africa (Celia Cruz is fierce in that concert with the song "quimbara", Live in Yankee studium , Last live in PR
You have also the CDs , Vol 1 & 2.

" Live At The Cheetah" who includes some songs of the gigs

Johnny Pacheco el maestro is well known in Africa (he did gigs in Senegal, Congo etc) . Personally I know him because my dad only listens this kind of music :

> Johnny Pacheco & y su Compadre : Pete " El Conde" Rodriguez
> Mongo Santamaria
> Ray Barretto
> Willie Colon
> Eddie/Charlie Palmieri
> Hector Lavoe
> Puppi Legarratta

etc,etc

> Orquesta Aragon (generation of their dad wowwwwww)
> Arsenio Rodriguez

etc, etc
Tatico Henriquez es el mejor !!!!
