Read before you jump half-cocked!

Thereyougoagain, c. pointing your grimy finger at someone. scratch that. jumping to conclusions.

My man if perhaps, you'd slow down and read, instead of jumping to conclusions; You'd probably learn something. But, no you have to be the humbug Ebeneezer Scrooge of a character that you are looking for nits to pounce on and show your superior intellectual capacity.

I stated clearly 'LATIN' Blues. You might have noticed that had you taken the time to read before shooting from the lip. I know Blues, and it sure isn't the stuff the long haired guys play on their guitars. I know that the down home Blues aren't what the Rolling Stones, or any other Red Hot Chili Peppers, or George Thorogood is 'really' blues. My intent in commencing this thread was to manifest the Latin Blues presence in the context of the New York City music scene. Something that you have no idea about since your expertise is restricted to Miami Dade and the Keys, and all the places where the balseros have juice. Your knowledge is restricted to Alfa 66, the everglades, flee markets, coral gables, las cobias y rabirubias, las chernas y los pag-gos. Ok, pitbull?

Anyway, Blues as in when you're down and out type of music; Not a watered down version not resembling anything to what Mississippi Delta Blues are supposed to sound like imitations...

Now that we got that out of the way here's more music (the only reason for this thread)

If I wanted beef I'd go to Winn Dixie? They're the beef people. Or is it peckerwoods?

Not one of those music vids comes anything close to be the genre that is the Blues....Latin or otherwise.

Stop trying to validate bad Latin pop by trying to give it the Cache of being referred to as the Blues.
