RE: NBA the Dominican Impact!
I remember crying like a baby when the Knicks lost the 1994 NBA Finals against the Rockets. That really was a heavily contested series.

there's no doubt in my mind, that if Hakeem Olajuwon doesn't get the block the Knicks win game six . Starks was on fire in the fourth quarter that night. In my mind, I can still hear Marv Albert saying "The New York Knicks have won the 1994 NBA Championship. Tough luck. Imagine how different Starks' career would've been if Hakeem didn't block that shot. No game 7 which forever affected his game, Starks goes down as a legend.

yumnuk, you are the authority. i bow down to you in reverence, and deference. yes, i wish Starks had gone down in history as one of the greats. he left his soul on the court every night he played.

dread, watching the knicks now makes it so easy to forget about the passion the knicks in the 90s really stood for. the whole NBA back then was so tough and starks would never back down from any challenge. no matter what. thats why he is so good. i hope one day the knicks will hang the 3 up in the rafters.... he deserves it.
