I lived out there in in the early 90s and Boston is still a racist city (the Boston Irish-Americans are, generally speaking, among the most virulent racists I've ever encountered.I guess you've been fortunate enough to never be stopped by MA state troopers), as is New York. New York is one of the most ethnically segregated large cities in the US and that's a fact. My home borough,Brooklyn, is a hodgepodge of ethnic neighborhoods and it's not always a good idea to be in a part of Brooklyn where your particular aesthetics aren't welcome. Maybe some parts of it are but for the most part NYC is NOT a melting pot.

The thruth of the matter is that have had a wonderful time here in New England! And before you and everyone else gets their underwear all bunched up.... Yes, I know racism exists. However we must stop looking for problems when there are none! And by that I mean; I have had no issues, nor has anyone I know! (mostly minorities..) But with all that being said....
