I have to look out for her next time, like on TCM (Turner Classic Movies Channel). You will be looking a long time because it is The Turner Classic Movie Channel not the Turner Camp Movie Channel her stuff is considered over the top schlock costume second reelers how ever it still occupies a special place in cinema history When you say "schlock" do you mean a movie like the "The Thief of Baghdad" with the same actor Sabu that was in Arabian Nights with Maria Montez, because I was just watching the Thief of Baghdad on TCM a couple weeks ago and that movie seems similar to Arabian Nights (also w/actor Sabu). And I'm sorry but I love that over the top glamorous stuff. absolutely not "Thief " in all its versions the original with Fairbanks and the second one which was one of my favorites of all time yes with Sabu the elephant boy notice how he ages in the 'Thief " that is because the film took 4 years to make and is truly a classic It was made by J arthur Rank I believe in the UK and on location I loved it .Sorry but the beautiful Maria Montez never made a film of this stature and I am truly doubtful if you would see them in a TCM festival You may see it at a convention of hairdressers or Florists or interior decorators not that there is anything wrong with that but her films are considered camp costume dramas for the most part and her early death we will never know if she could have developed into a better actress My daughter Yaina aka ". Yeah, I saw the Arabian Nights one on there the other day.
