The truth in your statement is not just about DR but any place that has a tough economy. At the same time you can find the most beautiful (on the inside) people.

I live in a poor neighborhood in America. We have theives and crooks here too. But I am not one. My neighbors aren't. We are honest and hard working.

A couple of months ago I met a woman from DR. She is incredibly beautiful on the inside. I think she is incredibly beautiful on the outside too. Not perfect but perfect for me.

The important thing is to learn to read the character of people. It is not easy to do and takes time. But good and honest people exist everywhere. You just have to have an open mind and find them.

My girl has reawakened in me a real appreciation of what a loving relationship is about. Latin and Dominican culture run at a different pace than they do here. I am really grateful I have met someone from this culture.
