Quote: ladronazo previously said: Well I have to say that if you are referring to visual beauty then that depends on ones perceptual, geographical and comparative experiences. If you are including the emotional, personal qualities and attributes then I may still not wholeheartedly agree. I may agree to some extent but not wholeheartedly. I say this based on the ratio of beautiful to ugly Dominican women that I have met both in DR and abroad and unfortunately the ratio is not a favorable one. And in my opinion it's not getting better. Examples of this is Venezuelan, Colombian, Cuban, all having a high ratio. But now when you consider personality then this changes the entire picture. Example Cuban woman in Miami are very beautiful visually physically, but unfortunately I find to be abrasive, demanding, high maintenance and have several racial splinters that are not visible at first sight. This I say from my personal experience. My first question for you, mr. muchacho, is: do you agree with ladronazo's opinion that the DR's ratio of beautiful women to ugly is an unfavorable one? Because I sincerely agree with him on this. Were we to suffer the misfortune of being deprived of our cibaeñas, the DR's reality then would be a grim one indeed for us gentlemen with strictly western tastes on our choices on women. Halleluyah. Pass the collection plate, ma bortha. The ugly ratio is really unfavorably on the side of the "mal talladas"...to use my mom's expression. And that ratio not only continues to go up with every generation, unfortunately...but it seems those are the majority coming to NYC. Rears are all out of proportion to legs and body, chichos hanging from every exposed cranny, hair relaxed half-way down leaving the concon at the bottom of the hair shaft undone. Then the bright orange and shocking red dye. Add to this the jeans 4 sizes too tight that leave nothing to protect a pedestrians sanity. Not every dominican woman looks like this anymore: ![]() But once upon a time in my grandmother's and great-grandmothers generation...women like this were a dime a dozen. Count me on your side. |

You can find women with features aking to Amelia's in all the little towns that surround Santiago and Santiago itself (her height is definitely uncommon, though). Hell, pretty much in any of the cities in the cibao. Haven't been to Santiago in a while, huh muchacho? "Don't ask me who's influenced me. This lack of beautifull women is attributed to the lack of infusion of foreign European, middle eastern and Asian blood. I wont include black because black infusion we have had sufficient. I say sufficient because of the imbalance of the other cultures. Case in point other than the difference in tribes of african salves that were sold and enslaved in the U.S. when you look at African American Women they are by far more appealing than Haitain women. This is attributed to the mixture and diversity in gene pool. The gene selection pool is by far greater than in Haiti. For this African American women and men generally have more diversity in their genes than Haitains. In Haiti generally it's black on black , time and time over and over again. Another example is Venezuelan, who have a high mestizo and European mixture. I also agree, I can remember when women as MS. Universe were bountiful in the DR. They are slowly becoming extinct. I to agree, PR women are intoxicating. volatile but yes intoxicating. Edited on 4/22/2008 12:56 PM by ladronazo. So, you don't like what's happening in DR.... |
