Improvement in the right directon, would you say? Let a Pena Gomez look alike try running for President in the Dominican Republic. Leonell as black as he is, denies his racial identity. He's blacker than Obama who has a white mother. Brasil is the most racially mixed country in the world. try another example. I'm black brasilian. Born in Forteleza, Brasil. Brasilain mother, American father. Both worked at the American Embassy in Brasil. I Went to school in Sao Paulo and Rio, arrived in the U.S. on a International student exchange visa, served in the U.S. armed forces, graduated college, served as an elected official in my town. and now work kicking illegals like the dominican putas and drug dealers out of the U.S. I notice that nobody responded to my comment about dominican putas and drug dealers in New York and New Jersey. I'ma Dominican New Yorker and I've nerver sold any drugs in my life. What's your point? There are representative communities from all over the world here and they ALL have a criminal element among them, so again, what's your point? If Brazil would have been as racially tolerant and open as you state, they wouldn't have imported 4,000,000 of europeans or 800,000 japanese in order to "whiten the country". Heck, have you actually counted the numbers of people of color in the political power or the armed forces in that country? I doubt that you will find 5 people of color being a five star general in the armed forces of that country. Until Brazil have the same racial percentages as us (that is, until they have a 85% of the population being of mixed ancestry), you can shove the "Brasil is the most racially mixed country in the world" line to where you know who. I can wager anything with you that the DR have more people of color in high posts of the state than Brazil have had or will ever have on its entire history. The first and only mulatto nation in the world title belongs to the DR and no one else. Edited on 6/15/2009 1:55 PM by Lautaro. I can assure you that is the United States unvaded the D.R., the dominican people will welcome it with open arms. Much like they did when we invaded the country 44 years ago. Dominicans living in the Bateys, on the Haitian border and in towns where poverty has hit hard will gladly welcome a U.S. invasion of their Island. No more hungry, broken uneducated kids, new and better foreign investment in areas of importance instead of in dominican putas. New infrustructure, running water, and electricity. Food and clothing for the kids, a real education. a real future with jobs plentiful. thousands of Dominicans will welcome an invasion of their country and you know it. |

Heck, have you actually asked yourself why is it that northern Brazil is poorer than the southern part? Could it be the fact that the north is of majority black (and indian) extraction, and the fact that the south is of a white/japanese majority? Just think about it. If that is not regional/structural racism, then I don't know what it is. "A man who strives after goodness in all his acts is sure to come to ruin, since there are so many men who are not good." There are over 150 million people of African decent in Brasil. It is the largest country of African descendents in the world outside of Nigeria. There are more blacks in Brasil than in the U.S.. Whitening, you must be talking about the D.R. and Puerto Rico. There are to many African descendents in Brasil to achieve a whitening of the country. There are black brasilian generals in the military and elected officials. Maybe if you travel there like I do every year, you will know this. How many black elected officials are there in the D.R.? Much more than in Brazil, that is for sure. For starters, if you would take the job of looking at our governement officers, senators and deputies, you would find that the ones being "white" as per US standards are only a handful. Also, that 150 million of yours is grossly exaggerated, considering that you're using the US "one drop rule" by counting the people of mixed ancestry with the un-mixed blacks (which are only a 6% of the population, mind you) on one single sack. It should be obvious for you that Latin America don't use the same definition of black that the US does, cuz' if that were so, I challenge you to call a light skinned brazilian "preto" (which is the equivalent of the N word over there) in their face. There is simply more white in the south than in the North, they are not a majority. Do'nt read it, go see for yourself. As for dominicans being criminals. (Cibeano75), selling drugs. You are selling them or using them. Dominicans in New York built their communities up on selling drugs, engaging in financial frauds. There is a report sitting on my desk now about your President's re-election being funded by dominican drug cartels in New York and New jersey. 75% of Dominicans arriving here in the U.S. did so by fraud and deciet or engaged in some criminal activity, be it putan or prostiution or fraudulent crimes. Including you or someone in your family which you benefitted from. |
