Nissan hasn't built a decent car in years. The new GT-R is ugly and overpriced. I could buy an Mitsu Evo X for $30K less, similar performance and better quality.

Renault still has not recovered from Government control. Design by committee. Poor quality control. I would get a Peugeot or Citroen if I had to buy a Cheese-mobile.

I guess a proportion of the puchase price stays in the UK - paying wages at the factory, buying UK components etc. It was some time ago - I don't know how the range is now.
