Trolls will hi-jack conversations with off topic and often outrageous claims on controversial topics. In the end, the single best tactic for managing trolls (and hardest to do it seems) is ignoring them.

What would I like? everyone treated with dignity and respect.

As no one here reserves the right or entitlement to offend or insult others while expect of others to not offend and insult them back. Dignity and respect are both relatives and does not reside on territorial sides nor on the borderline of bias and partiality.

In other words, if a party is going to write statements that are in manners shape or form defaming, distorting and degrading, then such party best be ready for rebuttal, refute and rebuke as counter measures even in contestation for their statements.

It is wrong period. Insults coming from both parties is plain and simply wrong. No question about it. As I shall ask you the very same as took the liberty of adding "Or a Dominican period" above at the end of of you sentence...

AfroL is right in the sense that not many have stepped up to police trolling by those on the Dominican side of our endless debate. Arkatype was banned repeatedly, tamed himself down a bit, but still posts inflammatory comments that demand a response from the other side.

yumnuk nice post in spirit, but forget it. It is clear we like it this way, because we choose it. We've all stepped foot in those threads on occasion and contributed our own little bits to the mountain of hostility. There is no short term hope to change things so get used to the trolls from both teams and make them your friends
