I was even an Altar boy because I went to an all Catholic school institution both in Haiti and in DR growing up. I am now non-religious Agnostic. I am not a religious practiced Jew, neither culturally or traditionally. My father's Jewish ancestry were never "Orthodox" Jews, but rather more "Circular" Jews. My father practices the religion, but not as strict as most firm devout religious Jews do. He owns and reads the Torah, and has great comprehension for the talmud but recently he has been more into the Kabbalah teachings. "I was even an Altar boy" no wonder the confusion!!!any relation to fred dobbs????? tu papi verdad? LOL |

I just do not like having any enslaved state of mind in regards to given earthly accustomed traditions passed on to many of us culturally as people. I have personally and consciously chosen to be Agnostic, perhaps going my own virtuous paths because I no longer have the same strong religious beliefs in matters that many have been thought to be "allegedly" typical divine premises. Anyway, I was never the stay inside the church type of guy. I often used to leave and go play pelota with friends. Indeed, I meant to write "Secular" but however, there is such a thing as "Circular Jews" which are often, I think, the misplaced Jews such as those in Russia, Poland and other places in the world. Here is a book that you might find interesting and I believe it is called: HISTORY OF THE JEWS IN RUSSIA & POLAND: From The Earliest Times Until The Present Day. I do not recall the actual author because this book was retranslated from Russian to English as there is several versions of it.
