He was treated just like any other slave only a tad bit better but at the end of the day the white man still considered them black. Mutual Interracial relationships in the US is a recent phenomenon.

And stop acting like the Haitians are black and DR is like some white country like Argentina and Uruguay, Dominicans are just spanish-speaking Haitians with extremely significant to not very significant spanish ancestry. Black Dominicans and Haitians look almost exactly alike to me, I can't tell the difference. Do you forget that alot of Haitians have french blood as well?

Haitians are 95% descendants mostly of west african stock that speak creole not even French, only 3% mulatto. With a tiny minority white and Arab about 2% exactly that arrived in the 20th century. TacoBell Whenever I'm in Santo Domingo which is far from Haiti, I see alot of black dominicans. I've seen more black dominicans than I've seen black cubans and apparently, they both have 10% black populations. Which country is lying to themselves here? Gizmo From the beginning i could see this is a disgruntled Haitian or African-American troll. 90% of those really dark skinned blacks you see in the capital Santo Domingo are the new Haitian invaders... DR is a mixed race country and that is fact. Your last sentence confuses me. Many haitians have french blood, great. But Didn't you just state that this was to be taken as something shameful? His last name IS Castillo Like I said, I see more blacks on Dominican Television than I see blacks on Cuban television and they apparently have the same amount of blacks in both countries, something's up here. Well it seems like you'd rather be white than black to me. I see threads on here making fun of Haitians and saying that they're barbaric because they're black. Dominicans call a Haitian town "culo prieto" When I see alot of Culo Prietos in DR. Why be so resentful about your black genes?
