Exploitation of women in hip-hop culture has become an accepted part of it for both the artists and audiences alike, and many critics blame the music without looking any deeper. When going to any hip-hop related event, my friends and I normally expect that we will be disrespected verbally and physically, and have to prepare ourselves accordingly. We have to be careful in choosing what clothes to wear, how we carry ourselves and what we say. I have often wondered why it is so acceptable (for men and women) and what the roots of the values expressed in the culture are.

maybe your brasilero friend can give you some insight on this matter. you know he mentioned to me that he had a piece of you in chicago an that he will be seein you in d.r this july. he must be the dean you refer to on dominican matters. no pun intended! sexual exploitation in the dominican republic has to first be examined on the demographics of the dominican republic. usually its all based on class. my heart goes out to the woman that have good intentions but yet do not have the nessesary means to find a better way out of the lifestyle. dominican men can be the most demeaning especially when it comes to what a womans figura should be. they think they have to look a certain way an usually thats beyond media flaca.

How about the exploitation of naive gringos? The have a sweet girlfriend in the DR that they visit a couple of times a year. They send her and all her family all kinds of money to bail them out of one made up crisis after another. What the poor saps do not know is that the same Dominican woman has four other gringos, as well as her hidden DR boyfriend.

sorry sir you must be speaking from experience. i cant help but notice you putting that they visit their sweet girlfriend a couple times a year. if thats the case no wonder why they got fifty boyfriends. hey not only do these women need to survive they got needs 2.
