What nationality have you been mistaken for?
I have been taken for Brazilian and for Saudi Arabian . But most people who see me first time, ask me out of intrigue . Even though fellow Dominicans have guessed it by just looking at me .

I've been mistaken for Colombian many times, also someone thought I was half-chinese once--that was surprising, lol.

Now when Dominicans get confused for black they can say, "No, I'm not black, I'm Chinese!"

Oh please, get over it.

Anyway, my grandfather's mother is actually half-chinese, but not enough to trickle down to me. It was just surprising to get that.

Usually russian, when I'm in Brighton beach! Other than that no one really asks me or questions my nationality. When people do guess, however, they usually get it right. When i was in south americas' southern cone, most thought i was brazilian or argentine.
