I was under the impression it was more like 10,000

I wish there were just 50,000 haitians in the DR.

I say this because some are referring to this number as an invasion of 'illegal' dominicans in haitian territories.

Jacmel which is on the Northern half of Haiti is apparently a nice city, and it's also one of the more mulatto cities of Haiti and pretty diverse for a majority pure black country, it's like Haiti's Santiago apparently.
