So many insane foreignors only talking about the same BS constantly, like they have nothing better to do. Go and solve racial issues in your own country and leave us Dominicans clean up our mess at our own pace.

Luckily we can say that we are proud people and all Dominicans have equal rights. Not like in the USA where white police officers arrested a black American for tresspassing in his OWN house, even after he proved it was his address.

I don't know where this meddling in Dominican issues comes from. Are it pro-Haitian NGO's? Are it freaked out Haitians? WHo are these people who want to put up a smeer campaign depicting the DR as a racist supremacist country ?, which is totally ridiculous as we are a Caribbean nation of mostly mixed people, for God's sake!!!

Our legislators are mostly mixed, our lawyers, judicial branch and even our models and artists represent the racial diversity in our society. SO PLEASE leave the DR in peace as we are, and stop instigating hate and creating racial divisions that are non-existant in our society.

I understand your frustration, and I am also aware that DT is being hijacked and sequestered by many trolls, some that are working for foreign NGO's, with their sole purpose to disrupt and destruct.
It is really gotten out of hand and many of the serious and positive contributors are shying away, due to the continuous troll intercepts and aggressive misrepresentation and name calling that's going on.
Full time moderation is urgently needed or the forum section will inevitably cease to exist.

As a Dominican website, we should not allow all the bashing against the DR nation which occurs here. Also, cut down threads on Haiti to less than 1 in 1000. This is a Dominican website after all.

The moderators have indeed stepped it up lately. This weekend, though, they were lax and one or two idiots took advantage. But as you can see most of the ridiculous posts made over the last few days have been deleted and certain culprits appropiately banned.

I agree completely. I have stayed away, even though I don't post much. I sent a PM to the mods last week and they said they are working on a fix. What they need to do is allow more mods (responsible posters) who can lock threads. I have never seen a forum where the insanity goes on for hundreds of posts.
