While other countries might not measure up to the DR in physical beauty, tropical party atmosphere, and general warmth of the general population(not to mention my familial ties), but at least the institutions in those countries seem to work. To my defense, I was as far from the DR as you could be at that time(Hong Kong) and Mr. Doms, pics triggered a state of nostalgia, that brought me back to my country for a hot second, but it also brought back the reasons why someone like me can‘t make the DR my permanent home.
