Objective =

With over 25 years in the Construction/Facilities Maintenance industries, my hopes is that I can gain employment within an organization where my experience can be of the utmost benefit to my employer while myself being able to utilize those talents and skills which I so painstakingly learned and achieved.

Employment Experience =

(present) Howard Harris Developers Inc. Superintendant
Currently Managing a county accredited housing development in the Tifton, Ga area; a naighborhood in Sylvester.
I’m in the preliminary stages, gathering price quotes from local distributors, suppliers, and trades, as well as communicating with local and state authorities in accordance with building code, permitting, and housing regulations.

Howard Harris, (owner/operator) 404-274-0157

(Nov. 2007-Jan. 2008) KBR Overseas Employment Agency Labor Foreman
After processing in Houston TX., was sent overseas to Dubai in route to Tallil, AB, (a military base in southeastern Iraq). Upon arriving in Tallil, began my assignment as foreman to foreign international trades crews. Was informed shortly there after that due to the most recent assissination of Pakistans prime minister Bhutto, some transfers and contract changes were being immediately implemented due to military deployment enhancements in the Afghanistan northern areas. Decided to terminate my contract with option to reinstate within 6 months.

Vincent Perez, (recruiter) 713-7534690

(May. 2004-Oct. 2007) Christophers’ Contracting Owner/Operator
Owned my own business in Jax. Fla, where I performed a full range of Construction work throughout the Florida, and Southeastern Georgia areas.
Although my specialty was ground up new construction, I also completed many projects, which involved rehab, renovations, and additions to private residencies, retail and restaurant chains, and commercial buildouts as well. My forte was hi-end homes, and commercial buildings.

Christopher Ferrone (owner/operator) 904-764-2171 (Business and customer references listed at bottom of resume.)

(July. 1989-July. 2004) North Florida Apartment Association Maintenance Manager/Renovations Supervisor
Worked for top companies in the apt. mgmt/ownership industry like, Vestcor, Equity Residential Properties, Lincoln Property Mgmt, and Financial Realty Inc., and Aimco properties.]
Was very fortunate in this career move due to developing local and state policies concerning the hands on work of non licensed personnel in my trade. Owners were made to provide training, schooling and even certification courses in the various trades that we (their service personnel) were performing in house. Those crafts ranged from plumbing, electrical, interior trim out, HVAC and Refrig., to exterior and structural sub floor and roofing. It was the combination of these learned trades and certifications that I used to branch off on my own and inevitably go full time into my own business.

Jax. Fla, city Building Dept. of Works. (craftsman/maintenance div.) 904-630-trad

(1984-July. 1989) Framing Contractors and Service Co’s Labor/ Service Tech
Began working just prior to graduating high school for local contractors and trades services. I enjoyed the hands on experiences as well as the idea of learning trades and decided to continue on , as my following experiences will reflect.

Christopher Jr., 22 (currently serving in the US Army)
Kristen, 19 (schooling for nursing,)

I do have all current up to date shot records, a passport, and a Dept. of Defense CAC security clearance card and status which allows me to work on government bases and facilities if need be.
I have over 17 years in the maintenance industry where I was fortunate enough to obtain great experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, interior finish, and structural trades, and even schooling and earning certifications in those areas.

FROM: EL HAITIANO

It surely will put the Metro to shame and Motoconchos will be a thing of the past as Dominican men will no longer look like gays cuddling with another man on a bike. The amount of growth with constructions is of a historical pace and solidifies the confidence the world has in the Dominican Republic as being the projected prime location for The Return Of Christ himself since DR has not committed any sins against humanity with their clean hands and so innocent demeanors. Stability and economic growth and upgraded hookers leads to investor confidence who sooner or later will grant DR nuclear capability to of course first in mind obliterated Haiti off the map then the rest of the World for having opposed them in the first place many times in the past of their weak stances on Human Right Issues & Violations. It is nice to see the Dominican Republic progressing its infrastructure and will later come up with better ways to finally build this border like in the new Mommy movie The Great Wall of DR by using Haitians and then bury them under it.

Yet as DR is left afterwards to find a way to have that Wall build itself as they ponder on this very Question. "If we bury them, those Haitians of whom who were supposed to be the ones building the wall, how does the wall build itself without us Dominicans having to work or even touch a single brick?" Fear not my loving fellow Dominicans, we have come this far to back down now in our progress, so may I suggest these two videos ladies and gentlemen as an insight to DR's next great future project progress or who knows, perhaps disappointment:

ARCATYPE: Well maybe if haitians were more civilized they would have a viable infrastructure, the Onion News Network is your source for facts? i hope this is a joke. Your rambling about Haiti is not going to change the dyre situation there, i suggest you go to a haitian thread and post all your negative rants. This is Dominican Today not Haiti Today.

Very well said ARCATYPE, I can sense a bit of envie in Mr Haitiano. jajajaja

Consuello, i am through talking. these guys are so impressed because one day their country will look like Houston, and, after all, if it looks like something american, it must be right. so we are building high rise buildings without fire fighting capacity, for example. MrDom, can you please enlighten us on the concentration of fire hydrants in Santo Domingo which are capable of propelling a suitable flow of water to a fifth floor of an apartment building? or how many cherry pickers the Santo Domingo fire department has? i mean, it is like buying a car and not knowing how you will put fuel in it. Oops! I forgot...we will cross that bridge when we come to it...

I do not know where you live, but the SDFD has some very modern firetrucks from Spain.

I could be wrong, but in all my life, I have never seen a fire in a concrete building, but, you're right, there should be preprared for any eventuality.

RE: Boom in Dominican Republic
Our congress has already stablished and approved a new enabling law last week that will make this project a reality

The Independent Financial Centre of the Americas (IFCA) will serve as the capital markets hub for the Americas, similar to The Dubai International Financial Center in the Middle East. It is considered one of the most ambitious projects undertaken in the regions recent history and could potentially transform the financial condition of Latin America and its position in the Global economy.
